By accessing and using AutoCommit ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

AutoCommit is an AI-powered service that generates git commit messages based on code changes. We provide:

  • Free and paid subscription plans
  • API access for automated commit message generation
  • Dashboard for usage monitoring and account management
  • Customer support and documentation

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not abuse or attempt to circumvent usage limits
  • Not share your API keys with unauthorized parties

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Plan: 50 API calls per month

Developer Plan: 500 API calls per month (paid subscription)

Lifetime Plan: Unlimited API calls (one-time payment)

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable. Usage limits reset monthly. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use our service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Generate harmful, malicious, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
  • Resell or redistribute our service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

AutoCommit and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of your code and generated commit messages.

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
